I am currently making myself available to others as crew on their sailboats for long crossings. I have recent experience with two 750 mile crossings of the Gulf of Mexico and crossing from Annapolis Maryland to Bermuda along with deliveries of boats to and from Kemah Texas from Corpus Christi. I also have done off shore and lake racing. Most recently I singlehanded my sailboat for ten days in the Gulf of Mexico from Corpus Christi to Biloxi Mississippi.

In the time that I have been sailing I have experienced a lot. Some good some bad, but they are all experiences that help me be a consciences part of a sailing crew. Please read some of my adventures on this site.

I have a lot to offer with my diverse background and skills. I have been a diesel mechanic for 25 years with a lot of experience in diesel, hydraulic and equipment repair. I recently sold my full service repair and parts business. (Please see my other resume) also I have 7 years’ experience as an Emergency Medical Technician though not currently licensed. My wife and I currently live on our De Fever 40 trawler in Corpus Christi and we also have a Cape Dory sailboat that we restored after it was totaled during Hurricane Ike. You can also read about that and the restoring of our Cape Dory typhoon
